Cancelling Windsor Hills townhome DEC 5th- 17th

I just had to cancel my dates at Storytime townhomes ( Windsor Hills) for December 5th through the 17th . If anyone wants the dates they are up for grabs now. It was the #2 townhome.

We are completly bummed out but had some circumstances come up that needed dealing with. I could cry but we are comforting ourselves with the fact we plan on returning 3 times instead of 2 next year. (spring , early fall , and winter)

Still I am soooo sad. I have to give up my CRT reservations on my birthday as well so if you need one try again soon! I am calling to cancel it out tonight.

Not sure if I am allowed to post the link or not but I will go check and see. Honestly we stay with them every year because we think they have the nicest homes and rates. They are being really good with us about having to cancel. I know a lot of you come on here asking about where to stay at WH. So maybe this will help someone out.

Anyway if you are scrambling for a last minute place for December feel free to take my dates. If anyone has any questions about the townhouse let me know. We stayed in a couple of their homes before and I have some pictures as well.

I will just keep telling myself.. Spring will be here soon! ( We are hoping to book February dates again soon. But I think I better go take my desktop of Cinderellas castle covered in icicle lights down.. Its making me depressed!

Hey! I was wondering what kind of a rate you got? Is this a 3 bed? I've only stayed at WH once last Dec and we are going the 5th-11th. Just wanted to get some info if you don't mind!

Thanks!

Sure. I know they are offering it at reduced rates but not sure what it is . I will ask them and let you know. Dunno if I am allowed to post a link or not but its the ST 2 townhome. It faces the lake and fountain. Really pretty view from the master bedroom upstairs. It is walking distance to the clubhouse and main pool. And of course it has a splash pool as well. The decor is really beautiful and they just put new bedspreads in the kids rooms I noticed.

I did notice on the site they are listing my now available days as discounted. They were only around 100 or 110 I think when I booked them to begin with. They are also not charging any cleaning fees. It says to email them for exact rates .

I know I love Tanya and Elias! They are always super sweet. I felt so bad having to cancel last minute.

Oh another thing I liked about dealing with them if anyone is considering staying with them. They didt put a freeze on a ton of money on my card. Some of the homes wanted to freeze like 500 on my CC as a security! They take your CC info of course but at least its not all frozen up . I always have the worst time getting those hold off my card. Took them 2 months to get my van rental deposit off last trip.

Oh that's such a shame, but at least you're being good spirited.

3 times next year? All I can say is WOW!

We just got back from a 10 night stay, and stayed at Story Time Kingdom. This is our second year renting from Elias & Tanya, and I agree 100%, they're wonderful to deal with and their homes are just lovely.

We stayed at the St Kingdom our last trip. Its such a big house and my kids loved playing hide and seek in it. Trying to yell up the stirs to everyone to get out of bed in the morning didnt work though. I had to physically go up there and into each room to drag them out. We had sooo much room it stretch out and it was so relaxing. I liked having the big vanity in the masterbath for makeup and the cutout window in the master bath shower. Heck I just like having enough bathrooms to be in one long enough to shower without interruption! lol

Glad to hear you had fun. I didnt look to see ( wont let me in reply mode) but I hope you are doing a trip report. I would love to see your pics!
