Whenever DD's MIL has had to get very large blinds or she wanted a specific kind - vertical; fabric; etc. - she ordered tham through J.C.Penney.. Does that help? You could probably look at them online and see if it's the kind of thing your looking for..

I have known a few people who used beautiful Roman Shades to manage large windows. In my basement I have a very pretty taupe microfiber Roman shade with whispy floral scarf valances on top to give them a more feminine feel. The Roman shades are way less expensive than blinds and durable too.

Are those the pleated shades?

not sure how large your large is but I have had good luck with the cut to size blinds at Lowes. They are reasonable, you take them with you the day you buy them and the ones we have had for a few years have held up very well.
