Strange Laundry Question?
Has anyone actually sent their undergarments out to be laundered by Disney? I saw this on the laundry price list and it made me wonder. It does seem pricey $1.25 for undershorts. I could do a whole load of undershorts for a little more than that. So it made me wonder, do people use this service? We have for shirts, shorts, etc, but not the things that are considered unmentionable.

We did our own laundry at night when we sailed 3 yrs. ago. It was easy to use the laundry facility at night. The kiddos were fast asleep while hubby stayed with them in our stateroom. I did the laundry and in between loads got to explore the ship. Bliss!
If your heart is set on having someone else do your laundry, then by all means use the service. Laundry is laundry. I doubt the cast members doing the job care whether they are laundering a shirt or someone's nickers! Enjoy your cruise!

Every cruise, we take out all of our items that need to be pressed and send them for pressing. I think the price is half the price of that listed just to have them pressed. They come back pretty early the next day and I don't have to worry about wrinkles the rest of the vacation!
![]() I would never spend $1.25 tohave my underwear washed...a little pricey - but to me...getting 10-13 garmets pressed for under $20 is worth it and that usual included both dresses (for formal and semi), dress shirts for DH and DS, slacks for both, dresses for DD and a couple of other day shirts for me. I don't worry as much about packing and it has always come back PERFECT! I love the service, but have never used it for actual laundering...DH does the laundry late at night after kids fall asleep.

I'd be washing those out in the sink before I would spend that much money to launder 1 item. Ouch!!!
