Recreation Interview questions
I just applied for a few roles with recreation being my top one. Anyone know what kind of questions they ask during the interview for recreation?

I did my CP Spring 08, with my top choice being recreation and my second choice being Full Service F&B. The only question I got about recreation was why did I want to do it. My interviewer mainly focused on Full Service F&B.
I told my interviewer I wanted Recreation and that I wanted to be in a waterpark. Even though it was mainly disregarded in my interview, that's still where I was placed. Good Luck!! |

My interviewer asked me more about life guarding, but in regards to recreation, she asked me if I was okay with working outside for long periods of time. I guess that one is pretty much a given, ha ha.

I put entertainment software as one of my interests, and because of that my interviewer asked if I would be interested in recreation (because I could work in the arcades and such.) Then she said it would also involve doing other outdoor activities, and she asked if I was all right with being outdoors and if I had any reservations about being in the water.
In the end it didn't matter.. I have a tattoo on my leg

I also have large tattoos on my arms
so it wouldn't have been a fit for me. I need a role where I can wear long sleeves. But yeah, she did say that the makeup typically has to be reapplied throughout the day as it rubs off. I found some good stuff called ColorTration that works VERY well (water proof as well.) If you can afford to stock up on some, that'd be the way to go. |

Lifeguards can wear black teva type shoes or crocs for their costume, so if you opted for crocs maybe that would cover your tattoo -- eliminating the need for the makeup. ...Except for the fact that most guards like to take their shoes off on stand.

I'm sure the Crocs would cover my tattoo, the problem is if/when I need to take them off to get in the water, it still has to be covered. Although, Crocs are kind of wide, so, maybe they wouldn't rub the makeup off.
