Were you able to get the room you wanted at the 7 month mark? Just wondering as we plan to try AKV the following January and I was hoping we'd have luck reserving a 1BD in Kadani.

We booked in Nov. maybe.....but I changed my ressie in early Feb. and messed it up. We are owners at AKV so we can book with the 11 month window. I think I went on the waitlist for my savanna view and got it sometime in the spring because I messed up my ressie.

What floor were you on? The animals look like they are right in front of you, like eye-level! I want to know what to request when I make the reservation in two weeks.

We were on the 2nd floor/lobby level. It is actually the first floor of villas. The parking garage is under this level. We had a great view. Now some of the pictures at the end were taken from the same 2nd floor but on the balcony of that coze fireplace room....maybe it is called the library.

Was it a quiet location? I don't want to be too far away from things, but I like it to be peaceful too.

It didn't seem loud/noisy to us at all. However we were only there 2 days. The way the layout is....it seems the bedrooms are far enough away from the door/hallways if you look at my pictures maybe you can see what I am talking about. You might try the 3rd floor/really the 2nd level of villas. The views would still be good just a bit higher up. You can always walk down to the fire pit to take more eye level pictures.

You all are welcome. I too a TON Of the animals...enough for one album probably. LOL I didn't want to put too many on here though I loved our view/room. It was amazing experience to see those animals like that.

Very cool...those giraffes really seemed to like that snack mix they had for them in the trees! Nice of you to slip DD in there among the wildlife!

I am sure she would appreciate that!

What nice photos! being on the 2nd floor did you notice alot of noise from above you??? Is it pretty sound proof or do you hear everyone walking and running around on the 3rd floor above you ??? We have 3rd floor booked for our upcoming trip and are concerned about this. We always request top floor wherever we stay but our last stay at Jambo House was so loud from the A/C fans on the roof. Any info on this would be greatful. Thank you.

Wonderful pictures! We were there in August and I couldn't believe how close the giraffes would come to the villa balcony-we have a picture of one of the little ones right at the wire-we think he heard my DH's camera buzz and was curious. I can't wait to return-I think I'll just hang out on my balcony and at the pool!
