Just checked in to BCV-who pre-assigns these rooms? - The DIS Discussion Forums

When I checked in,my room wasn't ready (no biggie, it was 12:30). She told me it would be Dunes Cove Pool view. OK, even though I'd requested woods view facing Epcot's France. So she did call someone right then to double-check availability for that. No luck-that's OK. So later I got the voice mail-I recognize the room # as HA. Sorry but I have arthritic knees, really need my tub. So back to the front desk, they moved me as soon as they heard HA. My new room? Perfect view of Epcot's France and I couldn't be happier. Too bad this room wasn't available at first.

Sometimes, I think you have a better chance getting your room requests if you don't request-just hope!

Oh that sounds like a great view! What floor are you on?
Funny how rooms open up like that!!!
