We went to Palo on Formal night since we had to get dressed up for Palo anyway. My husband didn't want to bring 2 jackets. We still went to the show, the Golden Mickeys and the kids saw it with kids club. My boys ate in the dinining room at our regular table and were very happy. I just made the ressie for the same night on the Wonder.

Hi Wendi,

Last time we cruised the Eastern, pirate night was our night in St. Thomas. I think it is Wednesday but double check! I don't remember when Palo is, but like the other poster said, you are already dressed up so why not make it a Palo night?

See you in 6 days!!!

Just wanted the OP to know that the kids are not taken to the theater with the kids club so if you want them to see the show that night you will have to arrange your Palo dinner to be after the early show which will get out around 7:15 or get the early 6 pm ressie so you are out before the late show that starts at 8:30.

Well after completing the online resss.....the only option was sat. 24th--the first night on board----I went ahead and booked it---so we at least had some res.---but I think I'm going to try and change them to another night so that we are alittle more prepared----

My kids went to see the show with kids club. The older kids go to the show, my son was 11 last year when we went and they allowed my younger son who was 8 to tag along with them but, only to the show. I did have to go and ask them to allow it. The younger kids club didn't take the kids to the show. This was last November on the Wonder so, I don't know if anything might have changed since then.

Wendi - there SHOULD still be some ressies available once you board the ship... you just have to go to the Rockin D' Bar to make them. I know you are coming in a little bit later since you are flying in that day, but you should be able to pick a different night once you get on board!

See you in a week!!!!!

I think Pirate Night is a GREAT night to go. We had late seating, but went to Palo at 6:30. There were SOOOO many empty tables. We went to whatever restaurant we were in that night and picked up our scarves, and menus after we were done. We had PLENTY of time to go the the festivities afterwards.
