Looking for a Birthday Restaurant!!!

Hi everyone,

My mom and I just decided to surprise my niece and nephew with a birthday weekend at WDW in January. Only staying for 2 nights and we haven't actually decided anything as far as resort or what park we are going to for our full day, but I'm very open to some suggestions for our big birthday lunch/dinner. I'd especially love to hear non-park ideas because we are leaning towards doing the dinner on our arrival night when we aren't going to a park. And the birthday girl and boy will be turning 9 and 7! TIA!

Well technically we will be celebrating all weekend while we are there, but we aren't big table service people so this will be like the big dinner to celebrate so I'd like it to be fun and extra special.

Thanks for mentioning AK...because we are not going there. We are only spending one full day in the park and it will either be between MK and Epcot. Probably MK, but they do really enjoy Epcot as well.

What about 1900 Park Fair @ GF? Or Maybe O'hana. I bet the hula lady would make a big deal over a double birthday, plus you can go out to the beach and watch MK fireworks from either afterward

hhhmmm......world showcase has a lot of great restaurants. you could go out the international gate to one of the restaurants at either the boardwalk or one of the other resorts. i'm guessing that your ticket will not be a hopper. if you are going to MK, then maybe CM or even WCC might be fun for them, especially when the waitperson finds out they are celebrating b-day! what about the HDD?

We are scheduled to go in November and we typically go every Nov to celebrate my daughter's BD as well. My daughter will only have her BD dinner at the Garden Grill in Epcot! 5 years running. We love the garden grill

We are going in March for my son's 5th birthday and we're doing dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table. My husband and I ate there in 1997 when we last went and we still talk about the meal, atmosphere and overall restaurant. I highly recommend it. Since we went they have added more features to the meal like a picture. I think it's an experience no child will forget.
