Wake up call from mickey? - The DIS Discussion Forums

So, we decided to pick onsite vs offsite for our April trip. We'll miss the space but hope for some Disney magic. Plus my boys have been asking to ride those buses!

At any rate, I seem to remember reading about a wake up call from Mickey in the hotels? Is this right?

It used to be Mickey years ago, but it is Stitch now. Still coool for the kids, but I miss Mickey!

Stitch is good too. they'll be up anyway but it will be fun

When I was there this past August it was both Mickey and Sitich. In fact it's been like that on my previous visits. Anyway I believe Sitch comes on first saying to wake up and etc, then Mickey comes on appologizing for the way he was talking.

Oh yeah...You're right...I get so jolted awake by Stitch I kinds forget. I love Stitch, but at 6am.......

Most of the time I just hang up the phone before Stitch even comes on and go back to sleep or get up.

It seems like I read something somewhere about a way to push a button (or something) that would put the wake-up call on speaker phone for everyone in the room to hear. But I don't remember the specifics on how to do it. Do any of you know?

This is just a guess but would hitting the speaker button work when the phone rings?

(me), (dh), (dd-9), (ds-6), and (dear kitty who is very sad that she doesn't get to come with us when we vacation)
