Excited First Stay at VGC for Christmas! - The DIS Discussion Forums

Just wanted to share my news that I had booked 2 studios for 4 adults last week at VGC for Dec 23rd, and have been calling every day to add the 24th. Only 2 bedrooms had been available, but we didn't have that many points left so I've been waiting for either 2 studios or a 1 bedroom to come available. I was able to get a 1 bedroom today for Christmas Eve!!! I also have us waitlisted for a 1 bedroom now on the 23rd so we won't have to change rooms. We haven't been to DLR in about 25 years believe it or not, so I've got more research to do.

I'm still confused about room view requests. I've read that they are all pretty good, but that the California Adventures view might not be so good right now because it's under construction? Can someone please enlighten me?

Congrats! As per room requests, I don't know, but those Paradise Pier views people are posting sure look amazing. The pool views look very serene and nice also.

I just booked my first stay at VGC this morning. I was so surprised that I was actually able to book at 7 months out. From what I was reading their wasn't a lot of rooms. I can't wait to dive into these boards and start learning about the resort.

We are booked in the 24th-26th Dec.... really looking forward to it.

Has anyone see anything about the Christmas schedule yet?

It will be our first Christmas at Disney and the family (including me

) are all very excited!!!
