I worked at Pleasure Island as a Main Entrance Ops. I did Door Host which is where we scanned the tickets at the doors to the club, put on wristbands, check ID's. Then part of that I was crossed trained at Cirque du Soleil as an usher. I liked it because I worked nights and I'm a night owl, so all pros for me. And I'm a theatre major, so working with Cirque was awesome.
MEO, you will possibly work Turnstiles at any park, Wide World of Sports, or the waterparks. You'll be outside a lot and depending on when you're here the weather could be humid and hot, cold to the bone, or wet from the crazy tropical storm rain. It's a fast paced role, so be prepared to work a lot, and fast and be able to handle many people with all sorts of problems quickly.
You could also work selling tickets or ushering at Cirque and Disney Quest. Those three positions are all in the same thing, so you'll be in box offices selling tickets, you'll need to know a lot about ticket media systems, different types of tickets, money handling, discounts, and the like. You'll also usher for the show so you'll be on your feet a lot. You'll need to be professional and aware of the audience and the things they may do that are unsafe for the performers. You have to be able to approach guests and be able to tell them to put cameras away, and things like that so you can't be shy. You also will be cleaning the theatre before and after the shows. It's not hard cleaning, mostly sweeping, mopping and sometime vacumming.
MEO's also do Main Street at MK. There you'll do turnstiles as well as PAC- Parade Audience Control. Pac is fun if you don't mind being outside and on your feet a lot. You'll set up ropes before the parades and play games with the guests and children, so being talkative and friendly as well as approachable are key here. When the parade comes around you have to be able to focus on the guests and that they are being safe and not doing anything to harm themselves or the performers. You have to be very direct at times and able to tell people to do things even though they may not want to, such as they can't sit in certain spots or to keep walking along pathways and not stopping to watch the parade.
Parking is also another MEO position. I don't know anyone that did it, so I can't say too much about it. But it can safely be assumed you'll be outside, and selling parking tickets and/or directing traffic.

All in all, you'll be on your feet a lot, most likely outdoors, and dealing with guests more than almost any other role. So be a friendly, approachable CM, that doesn't mind getting a tan!
