Solo during Spring Break, which resort? - The DIS Discussion Forums

Uggh. My nephew will be at Disney World with his schools orchestra over Spring Break next year. The plan was for me and my sis (his mom) to go so we could watch him play, and enjoy the parks. Now sis is telling me that she can't afford to go.

I keep thinking she may change her mind, but if she dosn't, I'm thinking about going myself. I have been to Disney World many times, most recently over the 4th of July, so I am ok with crowds. But I have never gone alone on a trip before so the idea of it is a little scary.

What hotel would you recommend for a fist time adult solo travler? Right now the orchestra's itinerary shows them going to MK, AK, and DS, but not Epcot, if that sways you one way or another. I have stayed at all levels of Disney Resorts, so I would be fine at any resort. TIA!

well, I have stayed in BC, solo WL and AKL. All those have been excellent solo! I have an issue with a room being on the outside, I sleep better knowing I have my door inside, weird but true! and that way I can do room service breakfast!!
