Wishes Dessert Party Res @ 7PM on 1/1? Call WDW Dining!

I spent one hour (!) on the phone this morning with them trying to straighten this out. I made my ressie before Wishes fireworks schedules were online. I called WDW Dining back when I saw the Wishes fireworks scheduled at 10PM. The CM a couple of weeks ago said she notified their computer folks and that it should be changed to 9PM. She then said I should check back in a couple of weeks to confirm the change.

Well, I called today to book a Fantasmic package and got one for 1/3. I then asked the CM about whether or not my 1/1 7PM Wishes Dessert Party res has been changed to 9PM. After being put on hold several times, where I think she was talking with a manager, and then with their "help desk" person, the help desk person "overrode" my reservation to the correct 9PM time. She then told me that the help desk told her I was previously misinformed and if I hadn't called, that my 7PM res was not going to be updated to 9PM!

I was very lucky to get a CM who was awesome enough to give me a definite answer on my res and fix it! But if you are one of those who are scheduled for a 7PM Dessert Party when Wishes happens later, call WDW Dining! Before the help desk person was able to fix it, she was telling me that my family and I would be seated in different sections if she made a new reservation at 9PM!
