Ride growth charts? - The DIS Discussion Forums

My neighbor and I were talking about Disney last night. She mentioned that her kids have these growth charts with the height restrictions. Does anyone know if you can only buy them in the parks? Or maybe I could get crafty and make on?(that was one of those..."out loud" thoughts LOL)

Sounds like something you could make...I don't think they sell them in the parks. That wouldn't go over well in my house...DD would have been obsessive about it!!!

Luckily she is now a little over 49 inches so she can ride everything. It's the first thing she asks when she goes for Drs appts...if they can measure her to see what Disney rides she can ride

I definitely remember seeing these charts, and they were fairly inexpensive, no more than $3 or $4 if memory serves. I remember seeing them around MK but I tend to do most of my shopping at WOD and they didn't have them there. I didn't notice them last week, but I do remember seeing them in May. I really wanted to get one but my DH was all

because we already have a couple of growth charts...

You can buy them at the parks. DS has one.

I just marked them on our own growth chart, and the kids enjoyed watching themselves approach and exceed a particular mark. It also helped my shorter-than-average youngest prepare herself in advance for the fact that she wouldn't be able to ride the thrill rides because she was under 40 inches.

I told my husband that one of the nice people on the DIS could pick on up for us

...and he said, "No...we are not asking a stranger to get us one! You can make one!"

(I would have paid for it! LOL)

So I guess I'm making one!

Here's a link to the height requirements http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/height.htm In Feb when we go, my DS will finally be tall enough for everything! He is just under 47" right now. He has been really looking forward to trying out Rock N Rollercoaster!
