Is aruba too far from OPR in CBR?
I'm staying at CBR next trip. Are the aruba rooms too far from OPR to walk? Are these the new nemo themed rooms? Thanks.

I stayed in Aruba when I stayed there about 9-10 years ago. I was 6 months pregnant at the time and found the walk quite long, although the bridge across the lake was nice. Perhaps if I had not been pregnant, I would see it differently, but if you are concerned about the walk, I would recommend you get a "preferred room" closer. HTH

We stayed in Aruba 51 and it took us about 3 minutes to get to OPR and about 3-4 minutes to get to our bus stop. Some of the other Aruba buildings could be probably about a 5-6 minute walk to OPR, but then would be closer to the Aruba bus stop.
We found the walks to be very pleasant with the lush and beautiful grounds. ![]() Yes, all villages have a slight Nemo theme except for Trinidad South, which is all POTC rooms. Have a great trip!

I think Aruba is a great location. The walk across the bridge is quick and beautiful. Jamaica is also a good spot--they are both directly across the bridge from OPR. You can see on the map that some buildings are closer than others, but I've found both villages to be great.
We've paid for preferred rooms too--but the walk really isn't that bad. ![]() Enjoy! We love the CBR!

We stayed in Aruba last May!
Yes, they are the Nemo rooms! They were clean and bright! I think our # was 55. We were close to a quiet pool and bus stop! It was a cornor room and very quiet! The quiet pool was very quiet!! Only 1 family in there when we were! The walk to OPR was about 5 mins. It was a pleasant walk over the bridge to the main pool or OPR. The grounds are well kept and as 2 adults we enjoyed the walk and sights. The downside for us was we found it too far for a quick night snack or to refill our mugs. Our DD is in a wheelchair and it was too far for her to go with her siblings. For this reason We would not stay in this section. Hope this is helpful! Any questions ,, Just ask! |

We were in Aruba and it was not a long walk at all to OPR. I loved the location.

Thanks for all your responses. I guess I will request aruba (the buildings closest to the bridge) for my next trip!
