Poly Club Level Question

We are leaving in 8 days staying at the Poly Club Level. We are celebrating DD6 and DD15 birthdays. Will CLub Level CM's get a few items that I want waiting for the girls when we get there like autograph books, Mickey Rice Krispie treat, pens, Birthday balloons, Halloween buckets, etc. OR shoudl I just order from the Disney Florist???

Thanks, Dis! I see that you did CL AND the Deluxe Dining Plan. I am thinking of adding the Deluxe plan to our ressie. How was it for you? Too much? We are deluxe planners all the way! We love it. Have done it every trip since it came out. I'm worried we will be unhappy without it. I hate, hate, counting credits and not being able to just get a snack when the girls want.

I don't want too much overkill though with CL and the deluxe dining plan.

We saved lots of money with the way we eat with the deluxe dining plan; however, we ended up not taking 'full' advantage of the lounge offerings in the evenings as we weren't hungry or did we 'maximum' our value for the deluxe dining. On our non-crazy days - we did enjoy breakfast at the lounge and grapping a soda (or beer in my husband's case) and some pretzels/popcorn to take back to our room to enjoy. We sampled a few things in the lounge for the evening desserts/cordials but not a ton.

Had it not been for the F&W Festival, we wouldn't have used most of our snack credits as there was no need to use them with staying CL save a few times in the parks. But we aren't huge snackers in general. As long as you are ok with using most of your snack credits for things you can take home - I see no issue with having the Deluxe Dining Plan. I think with having young children - the snack credits will be good to get everyone drinks and such in the parks.

As long as you aren't trying to 'maximize' both the CL and Deluxe Dining - go for it! Ideally - had it not been for the OOP experiences we did - we would have done breakfast in the lounge - a 1 TS lunch and a 2 TS dinner every day. My husband loved the plan as he didn't have to worry about how much something cost and if he would like it or not (not that it would have been an issue otherwise but he's silly like that) but it allowed him to get over fears about trying new things that might have had a higher cost than something he knew he would enjoy. I also feel I got my worth w/ CL by using IPO for planning like I did since it was easier for me to send an email than having to call disney on the phone to make and adjust reservations. CL was also wonderful when my husband left his wallet at Citrico's our final night and they actually sent a runner to go and get it for us (we didn't ask for that we just asked if they could call to see if it was still there and to tell GF we could pick it up from the desk in the morning but they sent a runner instead)

Our next CL trip we aren't doing the Deluxe Dining plan as we have a lot of places we want to try but don't take the plan so we figured we will get them done in one trip and then decide from there what to do with future trips.

Thanks! We are NOT ones to try and maximize the Deluxe Plan. We just LOVE the freedom of not counting credits. With regard to snacks, The girls love their ice bars and smoothies and rice krispie treats. Any credits we have left over, we take snacks home with us and for the plane.

We have 3 MNSSHP scheduled. I thought that lounge would be a great place to have some appetizers at 5:00 and then head over to the party. We also love room service and are doing CRT and Narcosse's, so I thought the plan would be great. I think I might add it. I bet we would spend at least $500 to $600 OOP for snacks and extra meals with just the regular dining. For $500 more, we can get what we want, when we want and come home with a few snacks.

I don't think the CL Lounge will hold my girls and hubby as far as snacks go!
