Cobb Salad At Brown Derby?

Hi, all! I read on another thread that the Brown Derby no longer has an entree of their famous Cobb Salad -- that it only came as an appetizer. Can anybody confirm or deny that?

Also, if it still exists, can anybody share their thoughts on whether it is really that good? I'm thinking of making an ADR at the Brown Derby, but only if I can (1) get the Cobb Salad and (2) the Cobb Salad is actually good.

Thanks!

It's still an entree (HUGE!), and my DH and I thought that it was delicious!

That's what William Holden orders at the "Derby" on "I Love Lucy".

That is my favotie dish there. It is an entree at lunch but considered an "appetizer for two" at dinner. I will often (at dinner) order an appetizer and then do a Cobb as my entree.

It went to Looneyland, by way of Crazytown, with a detour through Wackoville, and a stop for snacks in Bonkerscity

It is still on the menu, at lunch as an entree and at dinner it states it is an appetizer for 2. I have ordered it as an entree at dinner with no problems. It normally is delicious, but in June it was over chilled and icy, I was very disappointed. When we went back in September, I didn't order it so I don't know if it being over chilled is an ongoing problem. I went with the bay scallop app, pan seared duck, and toffee tower dessert and it was fabulous! Best meal of the trip! Love the Brown Derby!

I'm obsessed with the Brown Derby and its Cobb salad and grapefruit cake! I order Cobb salads when I go to other chain restaurants and have yet to find one that matches the HBD's.

I can't say whether its still on the menu, but I can tell you it is really that good. We have never had a Cobb salad anywhere that tasted as good and believe me we have tried really hard to find one!

A trip to Disney is not complete for me until I've had the Cobb at the Derby...it is so good!
