Ahhhhhh! I just booked a last minute Christmas trip!

Ok, DH and I are CRAZY!!! We just went to WDW two weeks ago (no kids) for the food and wine fest and decided tonight, on a whim, to go back in December - with the kids thistime Are we insane?? I got probably the last value room left - ASSp standard room location 12/11 - 12/14. Is this going to be a crazy time??? Someone please put my mind at ease and tell me that life is short and we should live it up while the kids are young (4 and 2)! We have AP's and we're not doing dining so it's only costing us the price of the room, which was very reasonable. People are going to think I need to be committed!

We're going too! Dec 12 - 17 with a free dining pin code, and we just went in May 09 but we are ready to go back. Our package deal was terrific - very reasonable - wish the plane flights were cheaper but we'll drive if we have to. I say go for it, Disney is so awesome to view through the eyes of your small children and every time they go in the future, they'll be a little older and probably less convinced of the Disney magic.

I am fortunate to go quite often... Annual Passes, in-laws have DVC, etc. So, I say go and enjoy. Life is short, something I learned all too well after getting injured when my kids were 1 and 2. My kids are now 3 and 4 and have been 5 times each already. Very blessed all around.

People do make comments when you go a lot, though. Sometimes, I don't even tell people where we're going--I just say we'll be away for such and such dates. If they know me well enough, they already know where I'm going anyway!

BTW--I went last Dec and had a blast. It's by far my favorite time to go. We got back home 8 days before XMas. The last few days of the trip got more and more crowded as each day passed, but it was still manageable. But I did all my shopping and wrapping before we left, so I wasn't stressed when we got back.

I am with others...if you can and want to..go right ahead and have a blast. The kids won't still little forever but the memories will.

I think you are going at a great time also..we usually go around the 12 to the 19th of Dec but are going a little earlier this year. We have really enjoyed this time of year!

Haha! We just did the same thing! We went in August and my DH and I are going for a weekend trip next week. I'm going back with my Mom and my girls Dec. 15th-20th. I just booked it yesterday. APs here too. I just have to squeeze in one last trip

Ok, I love all of you. I really went to sleep thinking it was too much last night but this morning, I feel like it's supposed to happen. I said a little prayer last night for a sign that this is the right thing today. This morning, DS walked in my room to wake me up like he does every morning. But today, he was wearing a pair of mouse ears!!! If that's not a sign, I don't know what is! Christmas is definitely our favorite time to go and we want the kids to see it. We were supposed to go next Christmas but who says we can't do that too, right??? Our AP's expire in May so like PP said, why not squeeze in one more trip I am just so glad my DH is just as crazy as I am

APs expired 1-3-2010, the girls are still good until 2-6-2010 but we have no plans for a visit before they expire. No plans for our next visit, it will be 2011 or 2012 before we head back. We've had fun DLR/DCA, we will miss you while we are gone. We took 14 trips from July 07-July 08 and around 16 from Jan 09-Jan 10.

We loved our Christmas trip. We were there the week before Christmas and came home on the 23rd. Crowds weren't bad at all, the weather was nice and cool, and we had an awesome time.
