Our MNSSHP experience Monday...

I just wanted to let everyone know about our experience with MNSSHP on Monday. I've seen a lot of posts talking about high crowds and such and we had a good experience so I wanted to give our positive experience. Basically there were no crowds. There were just enough for it to feel festive and not dead, but not so many people that you felt crowded.

We ate at Peco Bills at about 5:30 - we were practically the only ones in the back room - and the other areas were pretty empty as well. I was worried it would be pretty busy at this time with everyone trying to eat dinner before the party started, but as you can see that wasn't the case... maybe everyone else was eating else where I don't know.

Here we are getting ready to pull out and start our ride on Big Thunder Mt. There was only one seat behind us with a couple in it, then you can see the rest of the train. There is also no one waiting for the next train.

And this is about a minute prior to Hallowishes starting. When they started those sitting on the side did stand up in the street, but it was no where near a normal wishes showing.

We got a TON of candy... good candy too. Peanut M&M's (regular ones too), butterfingers (not too many though), tootsie rolls, Hershey bars, Laffy Taffy, Sweat Tarts, suckers, and various other fruity candy like Now and Laters - there were even a *few* reese's in there (single full sized ones)

We didn't have interest in the characters so I'm not sure what the lines were for that. We had about a 5 minute wait to get our face painted right after the fireworks. They were sending down plenty of empty Splash Mt. boats. We watched the first parade in Frontierland. There was no pushing or shoving, and actually no one was even sitting/standing behind us -- we figured this would be a less busy spot than Main St.

Was it worth the cost? This was our second year doing it - and while I enjoyed it again this second time, I'm not sure we will do it a third simply because we will have done it twice already. We are locals who have APs so the short lines is certainly not a reason to pay to go for us, and neither is the candy of course. I'm glad we went this second time though, we had a great time and I we didn't have bad crowds - or we at least had good timing

Yes thats Pretty typical of the Mon or Tue Parties they tend to be the Least Attended Especially Early in the Month. The Crowd get Worse as we Get closer to Halloween . And Even if the Party Is a Sell-out the Ride Lines with Still Seem Like nothing Compared to During a Normal Day

Thanks for sharing. We are going next Tuesday. Dh read reviews about bad candy selections but that sure looks good to me. I hope we have light crowds also.
