How are the crowds on Christmas Day? - The DIS Discussion Forums

Anyone have any personal experience with crowds at Universal (either park) on Christmas Day? Light, Heavy or Insane? My business partner just mentioned that as a possible Christmas Day present as he thought the crowds would be light. And since it's just an hour or so drive away, he thought he might go with his teenaged son. Any suggestions?

I've never gone to the parks on Christmas Day but from what I understand, it's not that bad. On 12/26 however...everyone comes and it's nuts for the next week.

We are planning to be there 12/21 - 12/23, hoping the crowds stay away until after Christmas. The week between Christmas and New Year's will be insane all over Orlando! It's the highest attendance week of the year for the Disney parks and I would assume it is the same at Universal.

It wasn't too bad last year Christmas Day but the 26th the crowds REALLY picked up!
