Poly garden view or WL club level?
![]() I swear I am going to drive myself BATTY just trying to figure out where to stay! it shouldn't be this complicated!!! anyway... I was thinking either Poly or WL... its going to be me and Dh.. and our 2 boys aged 7 and 3 at the time (we are going November 2010 fri-sat).. I would LOVE the poly lagoon view, but wonder if the extra $1000 is really worth it.. I really wanted the poly for the monorail and the resort looks amazing.. We walked through the wilderness lodge last Christmas and it was just stunning! so we thought the boys would love it there too.. so as of right now, (now, this is obviously rack rate.. I would hope a code would come out) poly lagoon view 5922.00 poly garden view 4977.64 WL courtyard 4572.68 WL club level 5292.68 I was thinking that for only $315 more than the garden view at poly we could get club level... which I think would be nice for us with the boys.. what would you do?? |

You'll get a ton of different opinions on this one. I think with the two kids club level will really come in handy! My kids are 7 and 5 and to have the breakfast foods and snacks and drinks available is wonderful. Not to mention cocktails for me and hubby and coffee in the morning without having to go far to get it. Have a wonderful trip!!

I was comped by Disney to WL Concierge (Club) level on my last stay. Had booked one nite at WL just because arriving early and the guard at the gate advised I had been 'upgraded' to Concierge level.
It was really nice if you are able to take advantage of the Lounge, breakfast is served in morning and there are various what I call 'sessions' of snacks and beverages served throughout the day. They offerings get better and more elaborate as the day progresses, including what could pass for dinner mid evening. If you are going to be in and out of the hotel and can take advantage of this I would stay WL club level anytime. |

Wow that's a tough decsion you have to make, although it's one where you can not go wrong. Now based on the themes of both resorts I would pick the Polynesian and because they also have access to the Resort Monorail. However my family and I also think staying Club Level is worth it and etc, so I would say to go for it if you plan to take full advantage of what it offers.

Tough, huh?! Thjis probably won't help you at all...We LOVE the WL, my son, especially!! I would certainly stay there again without a doubt. The service was great, the view of Bay Lake was awesome, mousekeeping was excellent. Can't say enough about WL. BUT...we decided to stay at the Poly CL in May. We are taking all 3 kids this time and the younger two will be 3 & 4. The monorail really appeals to us because the 3 year old will still need a nap. The rooms are a bit larger, too...more room for 5 of us. CL will be nice, also, because of the quick breakfast...not having to deal with all the people in the quick service lines. Also, it will be great to grab snacks during the day since we do spend a fair amount of time at the hotel in the afternoon by the pool. Not sure what I would do in your position....you will have a blast at either hotel!!

I would pick Poly. While CL is wonderful, I just love the location of the Poly. Having the MK monorail and also being able to get the Epcot monorail with a short walk to the TTC is great! Also, if you think your kids will use the kids club The Never Land Club is amazing!!!

The rooms at WL are a lot smaller then the Poly. I love AKL but every time I stay there I'm surprised at how tiny the rooms are and WL's rooms are the same.
I also am not too impressed with the CL, I'd rather bring snacks/breakfast food and then splurge on a signature table service every night. Though you might not want to take your kids to a two hour dinner. Hmm, different strokes for different folks.

I'd pick Poly GV and save the $$$ for food/stuff you really want/when you really want it. The monorail access can't be beat! Especially with a 3yo.
And don't book rack, wait for a code, they will come!

Poly hands down!
Bigger rooms, better food court, monorail, great beach for fireworks! We love WL, but kids are older now. With little ones, Poly all the way! June |
