POR vs. POFQ food courts

Are these two food courts similar? I've been to POR, but curious as to POFQ cause we may stay there next Feb.

It is pretty darn sad when a valet picks you out as a big Boma eater

I think the POR has create your own salads and pastas...it has been a few years since we ate there

POFQ has beignets and biscuits and gravy, they also have make your own taco salads and muffaletta sandwiches.

I would like to know this too.. We always stay at POR and seeing the menu's on allears, there seems to be more option of foods and variety at POFQ. Over on the food porn thread the food pictures look amazing from POFQ eg: taco salade, biegnets, etc. Next time I want to head there for dinner while swimming in the pool.

Agreed!
Stayed there in February and September. Food is good and so is variety. POR does have the Pasta station, but POFQ is a much quieter place!
Only negative-they stopped serving the dark beer from New Orleans!

My family prefers POFQ food court over POR. We have never had a problem finding a table and the chef dinner has more options, ribs, chicken and pot roast. Desserts are different at both locations. POR has magic bars.

I didn't really find one to be better than the other. Both are beautiful resorts with good food courts!

We have stayed at both and there are good and bad points to each.

POR is slightly bigger and has a bit more selection and I believe more seating, but it is a larger resort.

POFQ has a slightly smaller selection, and since it is the only place to eat on site it can get pretty busy at times.

We LOVED POFQ though. It is so much smaller than other properties. It could use a new coat of paint and all, but the pool area is awesome and we really enjoyed our stay.

Either is adequate, but POR has much better variety. My daughter preferred the custom made pasta to any table service during our trip. It was worth the walk from POFQ.

Plus, POR has outdoor seating by the river.
