Poly - Are all CL LV rooms also MK view? - The DIS Discussion Forums

I'm thinking they are based on the price but I'm not sure. I've booked a club level lagoon view room, I'm just wondering if I should request a certain room to have a MK view or if all the lagoon views in the Hawaii building will have a MK view.

I don't think so. Some are blocked by trees and that's why they're sold as lagoon view vs. theme park view. You have to pay more to be guaranteed a theme park view. I'm guessing MOST lagoon view rooms have some kind of view of the park, but not all.

I've only stayed TPV so I can't say for sure. But believe me, if they were all unobstructed views, Disney would be selling them all as TPV.

(There are 3 club level views - all with a different price point - garden view, lagoon view, and theme park/MK view).

When I look back at the Poly rates, it lists standard rooms as garden view, lagoon view, and theme park view, but for club level, it only lists a choice of garden view or lagoon view. That's why I was wondering. It seems like all the Lagoon view guests are paying the same rate so I'm hoping that they all have a MK view, but then again, it seems unlikely that some of those rooms aren't obstructed, but I don't know. I don't want to be expecting a MK view and be disappointed when I get there.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought our last 2 rooms were classified as theme park view. Again, it's possible I'm confusing the regular room choices with club level choices. Hopefully someone else will give their opinion and correct me as needed.

If that's the case - 2 choices only, I would still say that not all lagoon view rooms are going to be theme park view, because some are obstructed by trees, at least to some extent. Some of that also depends on how aggressively they are trimming the trees.

Looking at the Polynesian rates for this year and next year, for the Club Level rooms there is a Garden View and Lagoon View.

So basically all their Club Level Lagoon Views will also come with a view of Cinderella's Castle, however there is a chance some might be blocked by a tree or there could be one close to the view.
