friend's 5 yr old son on a vent with pneumonia pg 20

Please send positive thoughts and prayers to my friend's son who has pneumonia and is on a vent. He is 5 and his name is Kyree. His mom is devastated. He is a fighter and has a strong will. The doctors are saying it is very serious and very bad.

Prayers for them both that doctors find the right treatment and that his strong little body is able to fight it off.
Happy to be here

How very frightening . Sending prayers little Kyree has a great medical team, with proper meds, for a speedy and complete recovery.
May God bless little Kyree and give him strength to overcome this serious illness. ^i^
Keep the faith ^i^ Sandie

Oh no, that is terrible. My DS had it when he was 5 too. One day his cough sounded like any other cough then the next day when he woke up it changed, the pitch changed. I knew right away something was wrong and brought him into the Dr even though 3 days earlier they said he was fine. It can happen so very fast. Sure enough he had Pneumonia in the lower portion of his left lung. The Dr let me listen with a stethoscope and that part of his lung sounded crinkly, like he had cellophane in there. Thank heavens it responded quickly to antibiotics. I hope your friend's little boy responds quickly soon too.

Prayers are on their way

Thinking good thoughts, I see you're in the northeast...hopefully Kyree is at Boston Children's Hospital or Dartmouth.
