Question reguarding parking at the Boardwalk resort, with the new valet parking fees
Ok, our family usually goes down to the Boardwalk to eat and enjoy the sites and such on every visit to Disney. We just love it. To the best of my knowledge, I do think that we or (my husband) has been parking at the Boardwalk resort to get there. Will the self service parking lot be a lot more full with the new mandatory valet parking fees? Will we still be allowed to park there even though we will be staying at POR in December?

OKW and VWL Homes Yellowstone was amazing and is a lot more inviting than Disney right now. Could we be selling it all in the near future? Maybe. |

Yes, you will still be allowed to use both the self-park lot (for free) and the Valet service (for $12). In addition to the self-park lot across from the bus stop there is also a self-park lot across the street available.
Enjoy!

Well if you don't park at the Boardwalk resort to actually get to the boardwalk, where would you park? Another resort or what? I'm confused!

Overall (self+valet), there should be the same (or more likely fewer) people parking, so the lot shouldn't be any more full. |

We have a lot of threads running on the valet parking changes. While this particular thread was mostly a question about being allowed to park at BWV to shop/dine, that question has been answered. Before it turns mostly in to a discussion about the change, I'm going to close it, and refer everyone to the threadthat is currently the longest on the subject (which was moved to the DVC Mouse board).
NO MORE free valet parking for DVC members. Thanks!
