Peacock Suites??

Hi, Does anybody have any reviews on this hotel. Also they make you use Valet Parking for 8.00 a day. We like to come and go a lot well visiting. Do you have to tip them every single time you come back and leave again in your car. That could add up if you are coming and going 6+ times a day.

Thanks

We stayed at Peacock Suites last July. We loved it! One of our best hotel experiences. The beds were comfy, room was super clean and nice, and it was quiet. We came and went a couple times a day. We were under the impression that we didn't need to tip the valet parking attendants because we were paying $8 a day for that. They have hot choc chip cookies once a day too, which were yummy and fun to get. The only negative we saw was that the pool was super tiny. But we weren't there to swim so it was ok for us.

Thanks for the reply. It's good to know we don't have to tip them because they could really add up coming and going a lot. I agree i'm never worried about the pool at a hotel because I can swim at home. I like to spend all my time either shopping or going to Disneyland.

I was trying to decide if I should keep my reservation or try and get a room on priceline. I think I will stay with Peacock since I got a really good rate and I know what I'm getting.

Peacock Suites are amazing!! I stayed at the Peacock Suites recently with mum and could not recommend it anymore. The staff are great, mum became friend with the valets even though we had no car. The rooms are spacious and I love the fact the lounge room is seperate to the beds.

We stay here regularly (we own w/Shell) and we ALWAYS tip the valets, BUT not for each trip, we tip at the end of our stay. We drive to DLR so we are in and out, they are fast and polite so we always try to slip them a little something. We actually have tipped for each time they've brought the car to us, but now we tend to just give them something at the end of our trip and ask them to split it up. It is the honor system but we trust them.

APs expired 1-3-2010, the girls are still good until 2-6-2010 but we have no plans for a visit before they expire. No plans for our next visit, it will be 2011 or 2012 before we head back. We've had fun DLR/DCA, we will miss you while we are gone. We took 14 trips from July 07-July 08 and around 16 from Jan 09-Jan 10.
