Ideas for dinner pre-Illuminations cruise?

Trying to decide what to do for dinner on the evening we have an Illuminations Cruise. The Boardwalk area is the obvious choice, but we are staying off-site so we may not make a decision on dinner until the week of or or even the day of the cruise.

What places in the Boardwalk/Yacht Club/Beach Club area are likely to take walk-ins the second week of November? What about Swan/Dolphin? What would the walk time be between Swan/Dolphin and the Yacht Club marina where we catch the boat?

I know you can also use Yacht Club Dining to cater a meal, but I think that would be cost-prohibitive.

Ideas?

Peace -

Hi,
We did an Illuminations cruise two weeks ago, it was the best part of our trip! We ate at the Rose & Crown beforehand, but a couple of nights later we went over to the Boardwalk area for dinner and both the ESPN club and Big River Grille were taking walk ins and we could be seated almost immediately - if you don't mind walking back over the bridge to the Yacht club marina. You could also try the Captain's Grille at the Yacht club - the CM at the concierge desk(Poly) said they can usually take walk ins, and I've read really good things about it. If you can, request Captain Ron - he was fantastic!!!! Have a great time!
