Pressed Penny Cost?

The pressed pennies used to cost 51 cents. Is that still the case at the parks and resorts?

Yes, all of the pressed penny machines cost 2 quarters plus the penny to press...so $.51. There are some machines that press quarters but I'm not sure how much they cost....$1.25 maybe. I've never done those and haven't paid much attention. We love to collect pressed pennies and alot of stores have books to keep the pressed pennies in. Have fun!

That will show you the location of all the pressed coin machines and their designs.

I like collecting the smashed coins. Something I wish I had done last time, and I will be doing this time, take empty medicine bottles (the orange ones you get from the pharmacy) and put your unsmashed coins in one and smashed coins in another. This way you're not searching through your bag looking for the coins, and, at the end of the day, you're not digging all the ones you had smashed out of your bag and you're not fiddling in the parks with putting them in the book.

Happy collecting

Pressed pennies in Singapore

Hello,
I love pressed pennies. I got to first know them when I visited the States with my mum. She goes around cranking the pennies. I love them and there is none in Singapore. Singaporeans sure missed out the fun in pressing pennies... until now....I decided to bring a machine in! :D
If any of you happened to come to Singapore, be sure to crank out from Singapore's one and only pressed penny machine. You can order them online too if it's not possible to crank them yourselves. For more info, please visit pressedpennysg.com
