???? about putting someone else's name on reservation

We have a week planned for early December and for a variety of reasons, are thinking about not using it. I had borrowed a few points from next year and I'm past my banking deadline so I have to use the points by the end of January or use them.

I was thinking of letting my cousin use the points to take my godson as an early Christmas gift.

Before I propose this to them, I wanted to find out if there is any notice requirements or timeframe restrictions with Member Services to put the room in someone else's name?

I would do 30 days out or so. You need to order DME and add the DDP to the reservation if they want it. 30 days gives plenty for DME to mail the luggage tags.
