You won't see any Marvel characters currently used at IoA at Disney for a LONG time. Universal's contract with Marvel allows them exclusive theme park rights east of the Mississippi as long as Universal follows the contract. I don't think the Disney deal will be completed for a long time...the Government still has to approve it.

Well...I think Universal has a back up plan to eventually retheme the island. Still...it will be very strange seeing the island as something else. But...I also think it will be bigger and better than ever when/if it comes to that.

Wait...are you going to Disney or Universal? If you're looking for Spiderman stuff you will only find it at Universal.

Oh OK...I got confused when you said you weren't going to buy anything for your nephew. I thought you were going to Disney.

Spiderman stuff I think will be available at IOA for quite some time.According to evrything I have seen Disney has no intention of using Marvel characters in the parks for a very long time.
