How can 90+10 be good for you?

Please bear with me if I'm stating the obvious... the whole ADR thing has changed since our last trip. Back then, you had to phone every day for the 90-day window. But that meant if you were willing to get up early, you had a pretty good chance of getting what you wanted.

Now, with the 90+10, however, I'm thinking I don't stand a chance to get some of the more popular restaurants. For example, ideally, I wanted Le Cellier for day 2 of my trip. But there will be 8 days worth of bookings already for that day by the time my 90-day window arrives, so... more than likely, I'm out of luck. Unless I move that restaurant to the later in the week, but I still run the risk of striking out because we're only going for 8 days, so there will always be at least 2 days worth of bookings ahead of us. I'm really just thinking/talking out loud here...and so not happy with the results!

I am with you on this one. I had the same thought the other day. The only salvation for me is that I can start on Oct. 27th with the 180 day change. Me and everyone else in the world. So guess my chances still aren't that good. Deap breathes and some luck, maybe we will get what we want.

Book your hard to get restaurants for the END of your trip.

And keep in mind, that your plus 10 bumps into someone arriving after you, so in the end, it all works out fairly.

And lastly, remember that the plus 10 is only for on-site guests. So you have a large advantage over everyone not staying on property. Even though Disney has a ton of resorts, that's still a lot of people that you have an advantage over.

(And by they way, they are going back to 180+10 on October 27, from all reports).

Make your ADR for LeCellier on the last day of your trip-as long as you can be flexible on time, you should get it. Then, try for an ADR on day 2. If you get it, then you can cancel the first one you made.

Funny - as my 90 day mark approached I was thinking the same thing. Then I kept getting the miserable error message... Figured I was doomed - especially since this is only a 5 day trip. Called yesterday morning and got all except Le Cellier - oh well.
This morning - surprise - not only could I access my reservation online, but Le Cellier was available for exactly the time that I wanted on the night that I wanted! So - other reservation canceled, Le Cellier reservation made, and I am happy.
So - magic does happen - just keep trying.
Good luck!

Don't give up yet!
I just made ADRs this past week. We are only staying 7 nights and I was able to get everything I wanted within half an hour of my requested time...including Le Cellier at 7:05 PM (when I had asked for 7) on only our 4th night in!! Anyways, I hope that you're as lucky and that you get all the ADRs you're hoping for.

We've never stayed more than 6 nights. 90+10 was horrible for us.

On the other hand, when it was 180+10, we never had a problem regardless of how long we were staying. So hooray for the change back. :D

My experience was wonderful when booking my adrs back in august.
I got Le Cellier for day 3 into our trip. Wasn't hard, I got everything I wanted and all the hard ones upfront. So I guess it just depends on the day.

Good luck!
