Trip update plus some disasters

Monday was bliss (see my first report). Tuesday was great too. We did early entry. And did fantasy land rides... including dumbo and alice 3 times in a row, matterhorn. Then grabbed FP for Space M and rode it. Got FPs, for Hauntd M again then went to CA. Got soarin Fps, rode grizzley 3 times in a row, grabbed screamen Fp's. Rode it. Rode Neptune Carosel. Did the bakery tour. Kids did TOT (not me). Had the very yummy apple walnut caramel cupcake ...mmmm.
Had nachos at White Water Snacks. That place is a great secret!!! Thank-you!!!
Went to Monsters Inc. Rode it twice. Saw Turtle talk. Did the animation building. Saw the Pixar parade. Took monorail back got to ride in the nose. WOW!
Back at DL had a Bengal B for dinner.... mmmm. Dolewhip and Tiki Room for desert. Jungle Ride in the dark. Did HM and Space M. Rode nemo and Its a small world. Then Star tours. Back at Fantasyland. Rode tea cups and finished of with peter pan.

Disaster number #1. Woke up to frozen insulin!! Stupid fridge!!
Found out that I can't get one of the insulins my daughter needed with out an American doctors prescription!!!! Thankfully alovely mom on the CWD board came through for me and brought us the insulin I needed and I was able to buy the second insulin over the counter (NPH).

Weds. Was my youngest daughters princess day. We went to bibbity bobbity boo boutique. She wore her cinderella dress. She was beautiful!!!! I really recomend this. For the price she was treated like royalty by the fairy god mothers and the CM's treated her like a princess all day. She was gorgeous. This has been such a difficult year for her, having been diagnosed with diabetes... I am so happy I did this for her. We then went to Ariels for lunch. She was in heaven and the food was very good.
We then did many quiet rides (while my older ones went off on their own), including the horse drawn carriage, we even got reservations on the lilybell.... it all went well until 20 mins, before park closing when we got DISASTER #2!
Emmalene and I were going onto the teacup ride and she smashed her toe (she was wearing sparkly sandals) on the uneven pavement... BLOOD EVERYWHERE!!!!!! Even on her dress, she is crying and going all shocky.. but then the sweetest thing happened. Even before first aid arrives a sweet little two/three year old girl came up and hugged my daghter and asked if she could kiss her better... it was so sweet. So we then spent the next hour in the first aid station. she is OK.. but has a big bandaged toe. I even got the blood off her dress (her biggest concern LOL).

Kids! No wonder I am feeling so old!

Oh I am so sorry for your disasters. How sweet that a little angel swooped down and offered up a comforting hug and kiss. How scary that the medicine was frozen! Sounds like the rest of the trip was okay. Hope the rest of the trip was wonderful.

Wow, yours is truly an emotional rollecoaster vacation. Very Disney appropiate I guess!!

I'm so glad to hear that everything turned out ok for your daughters. How nice from the mom to provide you with insulin, what an earthly angel.

Sounds like you had an amazing time all & all. It's the little things that you will never forget from vacations.

The good thing is that even though you had the disasters, both of them had great outcomes and a little Disney magic I hope your daughter is okay and you all are able to enjoy the rest of your fabulous vacation!!

Thanks for sharing your trip report. Definitely a roller coaster. How scary about the insulin. My dad was a type 1 diabetic and I remember all the intricacies of travelling with it. So happy to hear that a nice mom helped you out.

I'm sure it's a trip you and your dd's will remember for years to come!

Thanks also for the summary of your day. Gives me some good suggestions for our upcoming trip!
