Parking pass for visitors...

Quick question, we may have some family members coming over to visit while we at the World. They would like to stay with us at the resort in the morning then hit the parks with us. Would they be able to get a visitors parking pass for a hour or two?

Just have them show their ID to the guard and drive in. Our last two vacations we weren't given parking passes and no one ever asked for one.

With one exception, they would just come to the resort and be admitted to the lot if visiting you but you have to let front desk/gate security know they are coming so they will be allowed in.

The exception is BLT for which I do not know the answer particularly as to whether they will be subject to Contemporary's usual 3 hour limitation rule for parking for persons visitng the hotel but not actually staying there.

We have relatives staying off site for the week. They will be joining us internittently all week, sometimes for going to the parks, and other times for joining us for meals.
What is the best way to arrange parking.
If it matters we will be at BCV and it is F & W festival. I don't know if this matters or not.
TIA

We've had friends visiting us at the BWV during the F&WF and they would tell the guard at the gate our name and they were let through without a 3hr pass or anything. I think they need to show IDs

I've never had a problem asking the front desk to print out a guest parking pass (a BWV, SSR, AKV) for relatives visiting WDW at the same time as us, and we do go to parks together from "our home base".

(Usually they are staying at a value, so they would get free parking at any park, but that never came up when asking for the guest pass...)

When I was at AKV in June, they requested a room key each time I went past the guard, in addition to the parking pass.

Where was this pass waiting...at the guard house? My aunt and uncle will be joining us for the day at the BW (walking the BW, hanging in the resort, going to dinner, Jellyrolls..definitely more than 3 hours)...it would be nice if there was a parking pass waiting for them....
