Haw far from Yacht Club to Epcot Intl Gateway?

DH and I are thinking about Yachtsman's Steakhouse for our date night, and then maybe walking over to the World Showcase to browse sans kiddos. How far of a walk is it?

Ten minutes, at the most.

Enjoy!

maybe 10 minutes walking.
There is also a Friendship boat out the back door of the Yacht Club that will take you right to the international gateway entrance of EPCOT if you are full.
Btw, we just ate at the Captain's Grille (not the steakhouse) at the Yacht club. It was our favorite restaurant all week. Everything was delicious. We didn't get the crablegs, but we saw someone with them next to us...HUGE pile of them.
The ceasar salad was the only caesar that I ever enjoyed. The crabcake appetizer was delicious. I wanted to try the clam chowder because they said it was homemade every morning, but there wasn't room. My roast chicken and mushroom pasta was amazing. Hubby's onion tart was also delicious.
They have select menu options that come with an appetizer even on the basic meal plan.

The walk is less than 10 minutes. When you factor in walking from YS to the boat dock, waiting for the boat and the time it takes to load and unload the boat, the boat will take longer than the walk (perhaps as much as 20 - 25 minutes total). In addition, the entrance lines at IG can get quite backed up when a boat arrives and all the people on it are trying to enter the park. If you walk, you run less of a risk of arriving at the same time as a boat load of people and you will likely, as a result, be able to get into Epcot much more quickly.

I am glad to hear that you like Captain's Grill. We are staying at Beach Club so we made a couple of ADRs for here (lunch and breakfast). When we go for breakfast, we have a 7:45am ADR before Epcot opens. Just wondering if it would be worth it to just walk over to Epcot or take the ferry....such decisions

We usually find it faster to walk than take the boat. It depends on how much of a rush we are in to get to the park/back to our hotel and how tired we are to decide which way to go!
By the way, we also love Captain's Grille. We've only had breakfast there, but we ate there 3 different mornings during our past trip! It wasn't very crowded when we were there and could walk right in on weekdays with no ADR. Weekends were a bit busier but we had ADRs and got in pretty quickly. Most people were told 15-20 minute wait (this was around 9:30-10:00 in the morning).

Epcot is way too close to take the slowboat. 10 minutes is the MAX it would ever take for that walk.

BTW - I can't believe Captain's Grille isn't busier at times. It's a terrific restaurant! If you've only had breakfast, go back for lunch and try the chicken noodle soup and the angus cheeseburger. Ok, I need to quit right now since it's not nearly time for lunch!!
