Is the Wishes PARTY the same time as the SHOW? - The DIS Discussion Forums

This may seem like a silly question and maybe I've just missed this being discussed elsewhere, but I always assumed the Wishes Dessert Party took place close to the same time as the show. We've got a 7:20 reservation on January 1 for the Party, but the show is not until 10:00. When I booked it, the January hours were not yet posted, but I assumed that since we were given that time, there may be 2 shows that night. Do you have the party, then come back later for the show?

I believe that is being discussed in another thread (might be on the Dining boards or here) and it is an error. I don't know the details, because it didn't impact me.

The times offered were incorrect for a particular evening or evening(s). I think they were moving everyone's time to something closer to Wishes.

The party is during Wishes, and there is never more than one show per night.

Call with your reservation # handy and confirm the time. Usually things like that are dependent on the time of the show.

We did the Wishes pirate cruise in March of 08 and I remember the CM who made the reservation for me told me to confirm the time again as we got nearer to the event.

We will be attending the dessert on the 30th of this month (

) Wishes is at 9 that night and I was told the party is at 8!!

Great minds must work together....I phoned them a little bit ago and was told "I knew I was gonna get this question." The hour for Wishes is not yet set in stone for the 1st, but the time assigned was incorrect, and it must have happend to a lot of people. After the time is set, the party hours will be adjusted to one hour before the show and we should receive the new time confirmation in the mail.
