Peak CS times? And "Basics" opinion
What are the peak Counter Service times? I have a 2 year old who tends to eat meals on the early side (11:30-ish for lunch, 5 or 5:30-ish for dinner). Would these be safe "beat the rush" times, or should we inch a little earlier, especially for lunch, and especially in light of the new Counter Service "The Basics" pilot?
By the way, I know this has been exhausted in another thread, but I see both sides of the CM-led-no-seat-saving method at select CS restaurants. If it does indeed mean that seats will be available when my food is ready, then I might be able to have my wife take my DD outside, and when I am close to the end, I can text her to come in so when we meet the "seater," the whole party will be there. Regardless, I will keep checking this board as I'm sure there will be reviews of the experience once it's implemented. Thanks! Chad |

I would aim for the 11:15-11:30 window (there are a few places that don't open until 11:30 for lunch - Backlot Express at DHS is one I can think of), and 4:30-5:30 for dinner - earlier being better.
After that - all bets are off until about 2 PM and 8 PM, I'd estimate.

PVH and CHH both open by 11:00-I've been standing in line waiting for them to open! Plan on BEFORE 11:30 and you should be OK. And many CS are very quiet at dinner time. We usually eat our TS meals at lunchtime, and CS at dinner time now, since both are quieter at those times.

the board policy is once a thread is closed, it is no longer open for discussion. I am closing this thread since there is reference to the new MK seating policy.
If you need/want more thoughts on dining times, please feel free to post that request, but do not inclusion of discussion of the seating policy thank you!
