Deluxe Digs, Delish Dining, and DISers...A Perfectly Pampered Trip for 2

That’s right guys we have a title!!! You must give kudos to P because she came up with it and then I did a bit of tweaking but I love the title and it completely describes our trip!!! We stayed in some pretty nice accommodations, we ate the yummiest food ever, and we met some amazing friends!! It was as we like to say a perfectly pampered trip!!! We had a ton of experiences on this trip, from security and flashing lights to an off site adventure (bet you can’t wait to hear all about that), and a date with Wishes!! (Of course you know there are some serious adventures that involve a certain gnome LOL). Paula and I both agree this was an AMAZING trip that was worth its weight in gold!!! We would both gladly return together for a reunion tour, we just have to coordinate with the group!!! So now that you have had a brief taste of what is to come…allow me to introduce our cast of characters along with some other important information that a trip report just can’t be started without LOL!!!

Before I introduce the whole gang (the who) lets start with the basic information like the when and the where LOL!!!

The When: September 26th – October 4th, 2009 (During the first weekend of Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival)

The Where: Walt Disney World (of course LOL)!! Okay I know you want to know what resort, we stayed on property at Saratoga Springs Resort, thanks to Paula the most wonderful DVC owner (she actually owns over at Kidani Village)!! She was gracious enough to get me a studio for the two days I was there before she arrived and on Monday we moved to a beautiful 2 BR villa!!

The Who: Paula, Jen, and Nobby!! Oh and we must thrown in some very wonderful friends (fellow DISers)!!!

Let’s begin first with the lovely Paula…or as I like to call her P!!! She is a working mom of 3 children and happily married to her DH. She hails from PA and is a DVC owner with a love of all things Disney!!! This is not her first adult only trip or her first time traveling in September! Paula enjoys the character Crush from Finding Nemo and is an amazing photographer!! You will get to see plenty of her handy work during this TR and boy did she take some great pictures!! She was even kind enough to share some of her photo knowledge with me…and what a task that was!!!! We have decided that I will be the story teller and she will illustrate the stories with her great photos!!!! However no worries, P will be visiting and giving her input!!!! Paula’s next Disney trip is right around the corner as she will be returning in November to take her nephews on their first trip to Disney along with her mother and her girls!!!

Hi, that’s me Jen (I'm the one in the middle, you know with the Jen pin LOL)!!! I’m happily married to my hubby, Prince P and a high school science teacher. I am a bit of a geek what can I say LOL!!!! I currently reside in Florida. I’m a huge lover of all things Disney especially if it involves the Haunted Mansion and if any of you are wondering that room for one more…totally mine…so back off LOL!!!!! I’m also a huge fan of Sleeping Beauty and just adore that movie to pieces!!! This was not my first adult only trip (LOL I have no kids all my trips to Disney as of right now are adult only), but it was my first time during this time of year. During this trip I was also able to celebrate my 27th birthday in style!!!! I will be the story teller of this tale and I hope you’ll enjoy the many stories that must be shared!!! My next trip to Disney is scheduled for January with my dear friend Leslie and I’m contemplating a return trip next fall.

Last, but certainly not least, is our wonderful gnome Nobby!!! He is quite the adventurous gnome who loves candid shots and meeting new Disney peeps who are more his size!! He has an unnatural love for the It’s A Small World ride and his favorite princess of all time is Snow White!! He was such a good sport this time and let us dress him up for MNSSHP!!!! Nobby definitely had a good time on this trip and can’t wait for his return trip in November with P and her family!!

So there you have it!! The Who, The When, and the Where!!! Now you should be ready for all the What!!!! And WHAT a time we had!!!! I can’t wait to get to it all for you; I know you’ll have a lot of fun with us as we relive the journey!! The people met, the memories had, and the laughs shared....all of it priceless!! So hold on to your hats folks…this party is about to get started!!!!
