Need to ditch one - Should it be lunch or dinner?
I have a lunch ressie and a dinner ressie for 50s PT. I initially had dinner only, but wanted a lunch. Everything was booked, but I kept checking back, and low and behold, a lunch spot opened on the day I needed it. So, I don't need both and I want to go ahead and cancel so someone else can get the dinner that might be trying to get one. So which one should I keep? We are paying OOP, so take that into consideration. I did notice that many of the lunch items are also on the dinner menu at the same price, so we may not save that much more by eating lunch over dinner (i.e. the fried chicken). So, give me your advice, and if you feel like it, tell me what is good there. We have been there twice before but I always get the pot roast. While I know people rave about this, I didn't like it as much the second time, plus - it always sits in my stomach and makes me feel blah all night. So, besides pot roast, give me some good food suggestions for either lunch dinner. Thanks>)

Personally I'd never let the general opinion of a few people on a message board sway my opinion ever again. Been there, done that, and got stung.
Look at the menus, and stick with which menu appeals most to you. I promise you that you'll find people who love lunch and hate dinner, and people who hate lunch and love dinner. There will be people who like lunch and love dinner, and so on and so on. It'll make your head spin, and the only thing you'll be is confused with a headache. If you've done dinner a few times and are only lukewarm on it, then I'd suggest trying lunch to see if you like it better. If the lunch menu doesn't appeal to you, stick with what you know and go for dinner. Relax, and have a magical trip.
