Back from first solo trip and MNSSHP

Just got back yesterday. I went for a Lamaze conference at the CSR Oct 1-4 I came down 2 days early and stayed first at the CBR, first time there and really enjoyed the resort I was in the building next to old port royale.

I was at MK the day of MNSSHP I was not planning on going, being alone and no kids. When everyone started arriving with all these great costumes I had to stay went trick or treating plenty of candy to bring home to my kids. Parade and shows and fireworks where great and I am glad I went. All ages go from young kids, young adults and the elderly with walkers and scooter.

I did not do any sit down meals as my time in the park was limited. Food and wine at EPCOT I could just eat and drink myself around the world.

My daughter said she felt bad for me being by myself but I really did have a good time I could get a smile and laugh from seeing others cute kids like the 2 little girls who met in a line and started talking because they both had on the same princess dress or the little boy who was ducking on jungle cruise as my son had done 12 years ago. When all the cute kids got tired and cranky I could walk away.

My kids are in high school and college and my husband was working. So if I had a choice I would like to go with someone but if the choice is between going alone or not going I would choose alone I really had a good time spoke with lots of people in lines and on rides. How could anyone not have fun its Disney. I was wondering if they may have an apartment for rent over the Rose and Crown?
