no contact

I have not heard from my wedding planner in MONTHS, should I be concerned at all?

Also when i booked through Beaute Special I sent them an email saying my date and they wrote back asking where I will be staying and i sent that in. Then I never heard back anything from them..that was also months ago. Am I booked...should i contact them again?

Whats a bride got to do to get a confirmation email around here??? I need reassurance !!!

Are you planning a Wishes or Escape wedding? I ask this because with Escape weddings there is not as much to decide so you will probably have fewer emails. Also, how close is your wedding? If it is very close, you will begin hearing from them more and more. If you have questions, just email, almost all the planners are fast responses to email but they probably figure you don't have any questions if you haven't emailed.

Did you specify a time with Beaute Speciale? If so, you're booked. You can call/email to request confirmation, though, or to share any other info.

Best of luck planning your special day!!!

Lulu- you just beat me to the punch! I second all you said and will add:
I emailed all my non-Disney vendors (hair/make up, CA's, etc) 2 weeks before my wedding just to re-confirm for my own piece of mind. As long as you have an appt. time- you're booked, but if you still want that extra assurance give 'em a shout out. I'm sure they're used to it!

I've been wondering the same thing! I just keep telling myself to not worry until a month before. We're still waiting on updated BEOs and the cake price and haven't heard anything for two months. There's nothing that they need to do that requires more than a few days, so as long as there's that amount of time left it can still be done! But I probably give in and email them soon.....

I booked with Beaute Speciale and I had a contract to fill out and send to them. Did you do the same? She then emailed me back with the time, but that's really all the communication there has been. They will send you a receipt for your payment, but I don't think they charge you until closer to the wedding. Either way, it couldn't hurt to send an email to confirm.

I also didn't get a contract with BS. I called they emailed me back once and we were set. If you are worried I'd call and double check. I also paid when they came to our room.

We hadn't heard from our planner when I returned our questionnaire/details so I emailed to make sure they had received it. There were no problems, they were just dealing with weddings that were before ours.

I have Beaute Speciale booked on the morning of the wedding. I originally sent an enquiry email and found out that our date and time was available. I then filled in the info they sent me on an email closer to the time to confirm resort, services needed etc. They confirmed everything was booked, but I had asked a question so I wouldn't worry.

I would send an email asking them (and Disney) to confirm details to set your mind at rest, but I'm sure everything is fine.

The contract thing may be new, so I wouldn't get too worried. Just send an email or call to double-check. I'm sure you're not the only bride that wants to confirm her make-up appointment
