Memorial Day - The DIS Discussion Forums

Looking at our calendar, it looks like our best week as a family is around Memorial Day..

Can anyone out there tell me what it is like on the days prior to the
Memorial Day weekend....and then after the weekend?

Any advice will be appreciated.

We've been the last 2/3 Memorial Day Weekends......the days leading up to Saturday before Monday are wonderful.....Sat, Sun Mon are busy.......last year the crowds went back down on Tuesday-Friday after Memorial Day.....we were very surprised. We are planning on going back in 2010! Crowds are normal....definitely not walk on but doable.

We were there this year from the Tuesday before Memorial Day to the Tuesday after. Agree with the PP totally, except we found MK to be EXTREMELY busy the Tuesday after Memorial Day. 60 minute waits for Pirates (we never waited more that 5 earlier in the trip), 120 minute wait for Splash. It was uncomfortably crowded, and it actually was a good way to end our vacation because we really didn't want to stay and deal with the crowds...we were happy to go home with our wonderful memories!
