Has anyone made Dianey themed birthday cakes or cupcakes themselves? My girls have birthdays right befor we leave for our Disney trip and my dd has peanut allergy so I have to make all my own cakes...anyone have any ideas or pictures would be great...with directions! Thanks

This is what I'm hoping to make for my DD's 1st birthday (also the day before we leave for Disney).
Also love these cupcakes. ![]() Try doing a google search with whatever theme you want. In my case it was "minnie mouse cakes." Google images will have a bunch of results. Have a great party and trip! |

Here are some Mickey cupcakes that I made for the daughter of a friend. I just iced the cakes as normal and the Mickey is free hand sculpted from fondant.

I made it a while ago but I believe I used a 12'' pan for the head and 4" pans for the ears. I did the decorating free hand. I made 4 cupcakes and put figures that I got from the Dollar Store on top of each one.

Also love these cupcakes. Any idea what the Minnie Ears on top are made of? This is absolutely adorable. |

When we were planning our first trip I used 3 cake rounds and made a simple mickey head (had to cut out a little to make them fit, KWIM) The girls then iced it and put sprinkles on it, cute and easy.
Some day I will take a cake decorating course but this was easy enought for the girls to do "then" at 2,4, and 6 since they like to help.
