Harry Potter ***HOTEL***???
I've heard that Universal was going to do a 4th resort, just wondering if it is possible that the HP land will include the resort inside Hogwarts or something
 ??? Probably not likely but was just curious, this would be extremely cool if they did this, even if it was a smaller resort.

If it was we would have heard of it before. If they are planning it there is no way it could be done in time for the opening of Harry Potter, so I would store that in the rumor bin for now.

I don't think it is possible. There is no sign of any resort construction going on there.

To the OP: Even if not true, I like your idea.
 I've seen your posts on here before and understand your passion for IoA. What makes it unique from any other theme park, is that it brings fictitious places to life. Imagine a hotel that did the same.  Currently all hotels are themed after real-life places (Portofino, Pacific, Boardwalk, Beach, Caribbean, etc). Imagine checking into the Hogwarts Castle...or sleeping on board the USS Enterprise (for you trekkies) ...or at Santas work shop at the north pole...or on Gilligan's Island...or ....?????

Wishful thinking is all we have. I doubt they are making another resort. Id love to have been able to spend a night in the gryffindor rooms.

I'm pretty sure a 4th resort is in their long term planning. Last time I was there at the RP, the boat operator was talking about how they were going to expand the river "that way" for the 4th resort, which I though construction was supposed to begin soon, not sure, maybe its on hold?

I think it will be along time before US builds A 4'th resort.There streched pretty thin as is.Between the economy,the Spielburg buyout(maybe have'nt heard to much on this in awhile) and HP construction.They have A hard time now running them I would guess at 60% when its busy.Then again its Universal property and Loews Hotels so anything is possible..
So the real question should be,will Universal have loews build another resort?Or will US build A on-site waterpark?They only got so much room to expand..

I wish there was A knob on the tv so you could turn up the intelligence.They got one for brightness but it don't work,does it?
