Question No campsites available first week in Feb???

Booked a premium campsite for Jan 29 2010 - Feb 6, 2010 back in April. Just tried to add a second site for another family member and her family and the site is saying NO Availability at the campground. Value Season...in JAN/FEB???
With them giving away hotel rooms on the 7 for 4 deal. What gives? Anyone know of something special going on?

Someone mentioned a few weeks ago that if you broaden your search for more days, the days you want will open up. You may have to initially sign up for more days than what you want but the down payment is still the same. At some point prior to your arrival, you can cancel the extra days. You might also try calling Disney directly, especially if you are a AAA member. They are able to give you the AAA rate.

Their website is "less than". For our last trip, we reserved our campsite through a WDW customer service agent to get the AAA discount, then ordered our park tickets on line linking them to the reservation number. The website never did show the tickets - just an over payment.

Thanks for suggestion. I did talk to a rep and as a matter of fact there are also no AAA discounts (or any discounts) available for that time period. It is so wierd. I got AAA discounts on my May dates and Oct 2010 including Halloween. But can't get anything but rack for my dates. It's making me think that the Boy Scout AND Girl Scout Jamborees are rolling into the Fort.LOL! (I hope)I even tried leaving off the weekends.

The Superbowl is that week in Miami.
Disney is probably trying to rack up on the extra money.

Plus a section of sites may be closed for construction.

I would call straight to the fort front desk and see what info they can tell you.
