The offer is the regular DDP, even though I will be staying at Pop. I asked if I could downgrade for the QSDP and was told no. Does anyone think that if I call back someone might say yes??? Just my 2 cents, I think that I should be able to downgrade if I want!

Why do I want the QSDP so badly??? On my trip a few weeks ago, from arrival at the restaurant to getting my food, it was over an hour at Yachtsman Steakhouse and I was starving and miserable! I kept thinking how awesome it would have been just to eat at the Pop foodcourt.

If the answer is truly no, I plan to use TS credits for lunch in the parks and just eat at the hotel at night. After a day in the parks, DBF and I are too tired for ressies, especially at other resorts (hassle traveling to sometimes, except by taxi).

You can use your TS credits for QS, so keep the regular plan and eat QS as much as you like. Then with the regular plan you can still have a TS meal if you wish.

You can not automatically just use your TS credits for CS....they have to allow you to.You would need to check with the resort concierge about changing them over

Yes they allowed us to do this one our last day we had one TS left so we got a breakfast sandwich and i had 3 rice krispy treats which i was going to use my snack credits, the lady at the register had included all 3 with it and said to me i will throw in the 3rd one for free (so i am guessing that two snacks were included with this already) so i didnt have to use my snack credits on any of rice krispy treats.

You will not be able to downgrade your free dining to quick service. Upgrading is possible but downgrading is not.

The plan was free, so you should have no problems and lose no value using all your TS credits for CS meals if you so desire.

Keep an eye out for a room discount for which you are eligible. If one comes out, check what the value would be to cancel the free dining reservation and book a new package with which you purchase the QSDP. If you are able to do that you will get an extra snack credit a night and a refillable mug.
