Tutto Italia - have you tried these dishes?

I was looking at the menus for lunch and dinner at Tutto's and choosing which ones, at least at the moment, lol, sound really yummy! So, I've listed those here and am hoping to hear from some of you who have tried these and what you thought about them and/or if you could describe them for me. Any opinions are appreciated!

It's time for me to make my ADR's right now, if you haven't guessed and now I'm unsure of some of what I'll try for, even if a bit late! Thanks!

Oops, forgot to add the list, lol!

Tagliolini al Granchio - tagliolini pasta with crabmeat, sweet tomato and fresh herbs $27.00

Lasagna al Forno - with meat ragu, bechamel and parmesan $19.00

Bucatini Gratinati - with Italian prosciutto, peas and parmesan cheese $21.00

Sacchetti - pasta pillows filled with ricotta and mozzarella cheese and pomdoro sauce $19

PLT Panino Sandwich - with prosciutto ham, mozzarella, lettuce and tomato $15

I had the Sachetti and dad had the Lasagna. I don't like sauce on my pasta so I got it plain and man did the cute waiter look at me funny for that one. They were good, similar to ravioli but if you don't like sage, don't get them. The lasagna portion was quite big, and dad said it was really good. My only issue was the food came out like 5 minutes after we ordered it and I have my suspicions it had been sitting under a heat lamp just waiting for us. The service was almost too good in that we felt a little rushed. If the drinks were half way gone, we got refills, and we had finished maybe half our dinner when he was like "Ok dessert time!!" It wasn't really busy, so maybe he just didn't have a lot to do but it was like "dude, let me eat!"

I had the sacchetti (and so did my dad) and we both left the restaurant hungry. They portions that they gave us were tiny and tasted like canned pasta sauce with some chicken broth thrown in to thin it out (so I wasn't a fan, but we were there for the week of the 4th of July, so maybe it was a bad day in the kitchen).

My sister had the lasagne, and the meat that is in the ragu is an italian sausage that was heavy on the thyme and fennel. I thought that it was a huge portion and tasty, but she was not a fan (but she didn't like my dish either, so we didn't trade).

My mother and other sister got the bucatini, but it wasn't bucatini (maybe they ran out??). It was farfalle or spirelli, but I can't remember which pasta was subbed in. They were happy with the flavors, but once again, it was dinner, but their portions were tiny. (when I say small portions, I mean that we could see the bottom of the flatened bowl bottom...so I am estimating it was like 1/2-1 serving of pasta, whereas every other dish in WDW is like double super-sized). When I look at the pictures from reviews, it looks like I had the portions of their doggie bags/leftovers. The chef wasn't being generous with plating us that day.

Oh well! You can't win them all, I guess.

We were there about a week ago and just want to say that the menu changed. I was planning on getting the saccheti but it wasn't there so I got some lemon sole with capers instead (and it was delicious!). I know disneyworld.com has menus now - that might be more up to date

I had the lasagna there in June and it was very good and large but also very mushy.

DD13 ordered the Bucatini and it was absolutely delicious! I'm not usually a big fan of cream sauces, but this sauce wasn't gooey or overdone, it was light and flavorful. I highly recommend this dish!

We were there last week and I had the lasagna. While it was good I have had a lot better. Being from the northeast I'm used to Italian food being alot better. I found the portion size to be a bit small. I tend to never clean my plate and I did that night.

I have eaten at Tutto a few times with the dining plan and so price wasn't really an issue. While I wouldn't pay $21 for pasta at home, the Bucatini Gratinati is incredible and what I plan on eating Tues - 12/8. The zablione dessert is also incredible. Have a wonderful time.

I had the lasagna in 2008 and it was one of the best I ever had...had it again in 2009 and it was not very good at all....perhaps it was just an off day but I definetly didn't enjoy it.

I had the bucatini last year, and it was delicious. However, I've seen several more recent photos of it and it looks like they have switched the pasta to bow tie or something else. The sauce looks thinner too, so I'm not sure if it's still good.

Lasagna al Forno - with meat ragu, bechamel and parmesan $19.00

(My husband LOVED his lasagna and devoured it in about 5 minutes. I thought the bite I had was okay but nothing to write home about)

Bucatini Gratinati - with Italian prosciutto, peas and parmesan cheese $21.00

(Totally delicious!!! This was amazing although rich and I could only finish about a quarter of it. I can definitely recommend this dish.)

I concur with the varying portion sizes! Even in the same visit it seems to happen because the table next to us, someone ordered the sachetti (granted with sauce but I don't see how that would make a difference) had at least 10 more sachetti than I had. But I was already on dessert so I didn't mind too much, would have if I had looked at her plate and then gotten mine though!

We were there last week and had the:

Farfalle (formerly Bucatini Gratinati) - the only difference is the pasta is now bowtie pasta. It was really, really good. A little salty because of the pork, but I would definitely have it again (and again, and again!)

Lasagna - out of this world delicious! So fresh, and so good.

Thank guys, for the responses! Well, it seems like the Farfalle (formerly bucatini) is quite popular! And, now my DD19 says that's what she got last Nov and really liked it! I don't remember what I got then. Sounds like the lasagne is good, too, though I usually end up liking mine better and so I usually don't order it out. And, it's not like I'm a great cook or something or even Italian, lol! I'm a little worried that the menu is change though, I'd like to know what they'll have before I go, so I know what's good! Hopefully they'll still have the farfalle.

I'm surprised to hear about the small platings, you tend to expect big, sometimes even too big, at disney restaurants!

Still wondering if anyone has tried the pasta with the crabmeat and tomato sauce? I'm
