Run! The Tag Fairies are everywhere!
Please stop licking your monitor. It's hard to clean the smudges off, and electrocution sounds painful.

Our review of CSR 9/25-10/2 with a few pics

Just returned from a wonderful stay at CSR!

We checked in on 9/25 about 10:30am. I had previously checked in online so we used that line.
I honestly do not see all the hype in online checkin. We were in line much longer than others who were in the regular line

Anyway, after getting up to the desk, we were greeted by the CM and asked for photo ID. He then asked if we were part of a convention. "Ummm, no" Then he asked to re swipe my CC so the computer could verify it was me.(I don't know what that was about)
He took a look at our assigned room locationin the Cabanas, and was apparently not happy with it, as he said it had an obstructed view.
(We booked a water view room and had requested Cabanas 8B or
8A via our reservation and fax)
So, he then got got on the phone and tried having us moved because he wanted a better view for us, and a room that was ready. After 15 minutes of waiting, they could not find anything else, so we ended up right where we started in the beginning.
Our room was not ready, so we got a our package and were told we would receive a call when it was.

About 3:30 we received the call that the room was now ready while we were at DTD.
We were pleased to find out that we were in 8B with a corner, lake view room! Room number 8608.

Oh--the "obstructed view" the CM had been worried about? It was a PALM TREE!!!
I had no problem with that what-so-ever !
This was the view looking slightly to the left out of our door:

And this was the view looking straight out and to the right:

We were very close to bus stop #4 (which my tired feet LOVED)
and to both the quiet pool and large main pool.

View from bus stop back towards Cabanas 8B

We loved the new queen beds and found them very comfortable. It made DH and I realize that we desperately need a new mattress here at home. Mousekeeping kept our room very nice, although we did not receive any towel animals or any extras.

The resort was very quiet, and the only problem we had was on our first night.About 3am, we were all awakened by very loud talking, laughing and banging around from the next room.I peeked out our window to see a lady dressed in a dress and high heels taking pictures from the balcony. After about 30 minutes, DH opened the door and asked them if they would mind keeping it down as we had all been woken up by them. The man he spoke to apologized and said they were leaving soon.DH said he was in a tux, so it must have been a wedding party maybe

We ate at Maya Grill for dinner and really enjoyed it!
Two of my guys had the seafood dish (something Jaleah?),I had the steak and my other guy had the Steak and Portabella skewerer. All very good!
We actually skipped the Pepper Market this trip in exchange for Wolf Gang Puck Express because the guys wanted to hurry up and get to Disney Quest. It was FANTASTIC btw, and a very good value on the meal plan.

All in all, we loved our stay at CSR!!! It really made us sad to leave. And we hope we can go back again soon.

Here are a few more various pics I took around our room area.

Those pictures bring back great memories. About a month ago I was in room 8611. They were the same views I saw everyday!

Glad you had a nice time.
