Where to go to see..........
Just trying to finalize our itinerary in my planning book that i am taking on vacation and just wondering if anyone has a link to the show times etc. at Disney. I have planned park days to see the fireworks etc. as this is our first trip. So far we have
Nov 10 - Animal Kingdom Nov 13 - Epcot to see Illuminations Nov 16 - Disney Studios to see Fantasmic Nov 17 - any disney park any suggestions???? Nov 18 - Magic Kingdom to see Wishes/Spectromagic Nov 19 - any disney park thought we would let the kids pic their favorite Any suggestions on where to go to see the fireworks/shows and how far before they start do we need to be there???? Wish i would have known about the dinner packages/cruises earlier as that would have made it easier, but i do think these are must sees for our family as this is our first trip.... Thanks in advance for any suggestions |

Our favorite spot to watch Spectromagic is right outside of Liberty Tree Tavern. Avoid Main Street for Wishes--extremely crowded. We watched outside of Crystal Palace this year...a bit crowded, too, with a lot of people walking by, but we could see the fireworks really well. Watching them from Fantasyland, near the Pooh ride gives you a totally different perspective of the fireworks, and it's not nearly as crowded (can't see Tink from here, though). Another crowd-free way to watch Wishes is from the Poly or the Grand Floridian. You're watching from a distance, but it's still a neat place to watch from. Have an awesome first trip!

The "small" entertainment items are only released on a weekly basis. Things like Spectro/Wishes/Fantasmic are on the Disney calendar - check right here on wdwinfo.com for the park hours/entertainment, or the Disney site.

Thanks so much for the tips on where to be to watch them. We are actually arriving in Florida the end of October but have a bunch of other stuff planned so we are spending the 6 days at WDW and our son has never been but the girls have been to Disneyland once 5 years ago. The kids are now 14, 11 and 9 so it will be easier to see more without needing naps and early bedtimes.
