Tower of Terror 13K & 5K - The DIS Discussion Forums

Please tell me where threads are regarding this race. Support threads or whatever. I know there must be some out there.

I registered too late for 5K. While waiting to get leave approved from work, it filled up.
So I stupidly registered for 13K. I won't be able to finish 8 miles.
I am hoping to be able to trade with someone?
At least get some support and team spirit.
Any help would be appreciated.

Have a great time and I hope you have an awesome race!!!! And as far as the 13K goes you never know, you might just surprise yourself the excitement of the race is a strong pull

Stop over on the events/competition side and say Hi. There is a great group going, don't be shy. They will be wearing their green shirts that say WISH, you'll be able to spot them on the course too and be sure to say then too.

It's always nice to have a friendly hello and smile along the miles

WISH I was going too but will sending tons of positive thoughts that weekend

I'll be at the 13K too & it's my 1st time going that far. Seemed like a good idea at the time! And, I'm going solo--no DH or kids this trip so I'm looking for some pixie dust too! I'm looking at it this way---2 goals: finish & don't be dead last. Lol. Maybe we'll run into each other (ha, Ha) & be able to give some mutual support!
