Pressed Penny Albums?

Could anyone tell me where I might be able to find Disney pressed penny albums in advance of our trip? I'd love links to online resources or ideas where I might find them in a store. Thanks!

I've seen them on ebay but they are more $ than at WDW ($6.95 in Sept.). I haven't seen them anywhere else. Sorry.

You can check back with http://www.laughingplacestore.com/SearchResults.asp?P=1

http://www.treasurekingdom.com/ from time to time.

Right now they only have tink and the books would probably be cheaper on ebay.

There's a bunch of them up on ebay. I'm tempted to get one for our Feb trip myself.

I'm surprized there aren't more sources for these outside of the parks. Do most collectors buy them when they arrive? Is there some method of archiving them other than the books that I should be considering? I'm obviously new to this, but I think my children would have fun with it during our next trip.

Google "pressed penny album."

If you want a Disney themed one, you can find them on ebay, but plan on spending about twice as much as you would if you just wait until you get to WDW. They are available in the resort gift shops. I'd buy one there.

Thanks everyone. Do you all think a regular coin collecting book work for pressed pennies?

I don't know what a regular coin collecting book looks like, but the pressed penny ones are made for the elongated pennies (and there's slots for quarters, too). If you want to wait til you got to WDW, the gift shop in your resort sells them. You don't necessarily have to wait until you get to the parks. I think I paid around $7.00 which included tax for my book this year. Enjoy collecting - it will certainly become an addiction! Do you have the pressed penny list? If you don't, you can pick one up at your resort, and each park has a list as well.

Not any that I've ever seen.

I agree with those that say to just pick them up when you get there. I saw them at the resort gift shop and almost every other shop I went in (except for some of the specialty shops, like the Christmas shop in MK).

We were just there a week ago. They have both a Tink and a Mickey pressed penny book. Both of them had room for pennies and quarters. We have one from last year "four parks, one world" that, unfortunately, only has spaces for pennies. We filled it on our last two trips (with some extras to start a new book).
